The fire trucks started off the parade... sirens & horns a blazing!

Didn't take long for the waving to begin... "Merry Christmas"
Then the loot came, and the begging began!
Best seat in the house went to Riley! Looking comfy cozy :)

A wintery float...
My favorite float, a truck carrying a large, very large Christmas tree. It had to raise & lower the tree to go under power lines!

Looks like fun! How did they raise and lower the huge tree?
The company which was doing this particular float is a company that relocates trees. It was holding the large Christmas tree in is huge mechanical pincher which simply raised and lowered. Just not something you see every parade!
