The kids had been very eager to ride "Daddy's Train" aka the West Coast Express ever since he started his new job. So during Spring Break we took a day trip to Science World.
Some very, very excited kids! "All Aboard!"
Once we arrived at Vancouver Waterfront we hopped on the Skytrain to take us to our destination.
Another very exciting experience!
We took many pictures and I've tried to narrow it down, but there were so many fun ones! The kids really enjoyed the water station...
Brody liked to place balls upstream and wait for them to come to him...
They also enjoyed shooting balls to the upper section...
Sound circles (make different noises when you step on them)...
Loading a parachute...
To run and catch...
I got it...
Ahhhh...
Pixel Pins...
Ball tunnel wall...
Pulley seat, where Melissa pulled herself up...
Brody quite enjoyed these disk/wheels which you roll up to the top of a slope then let them spin down...
Thermal camera photo of guess who!?
The classic floor piano - I think I played on this when I was a kid!
Electrically charged children!
We stopped for lunch at White Spot, and then Brody agreed to a nap in the stroller.
Melissa got a visual of what she will look like as she ages ;)
Age 10
Age 35

Science World was featuring a Lego Exhibit. This is a picture of a massive wall mural done with single Lego squares.
...closer...
and closer!
There were some amazing Lego creations on display...
We were waiting to watch a show on electricity and spotted Melissa's friend Rachel from school there! What a fun surprise! They enjoyed the show together.
Brody all napped up and ready for more fun!
So we took him around to see parts of the Lego exhibit which he would enjoy.
There was a build your own invention section which had an endless source of Lego!
A child's dream come true!!!
