Snow Fun!

The kids have been very pleased to have another round of snow these days! It also gives me the opportunity to share some pics that didn't make it up from our last snow fall in December!

February 2014, the kids spent a long time playing together in the white-stuff! Brody mostly eating it ;)

This morning after dropping Melissa off at the bus stop he was already suited up so we played a bit!

Not so sure about going down the slide covered in snow... but he did :)

Christmas with the Thomas'

On Christmas Eve we celebrated Christmas with Nana & Pop... the kids were beyond excited!

Melissa scored a bunch of cat items. She LOVES pretending that she is a cat, and has really enjoyed wearing these black cat ears, earmuffs to school every day this winter! 


Brody received a super soft & warm Thomas the Train Sherpa fleece blanket. He sleeps with it daily and loves to tell us the name of the trains on it!
 
We put it to use right away ;)


Pop & Nana's turn to open presents and Brody was all hands on deck to make sure they didn't have any troubles!






Melissa received a much wanted Furby which she has lovingly named "Waybo".
(On our drive home, Waybo squealed with delight and shared her many body functions! Apparently they don't make on/off switches on them)


Brody got a cool addition to his Thomas the Train railway set... a wood chipper!


Melissa received a doll sized school locker which her dolls have put to great use!

Lastly, Brody received a John Deere Combine which continues to thrill him when it shakes and makes cool tractor sounds!


Another great Christmas! We were so spoiled :)

Christmas with the Klasens

We spent the later part of Christmas Day with my family this year.

The kids eagerly tore into their presents!

Brody received a cool Thomas the Train umbrella!

Melissa was very pleased to receive a doll salon set (chair & hair tools with a book of hair styling ideas & tips!)

Didn't take long before she was trying it out on Julie :) 

Melissa also received the "Apples to Apples Jr" game which we love playing!

Even fur-cousin Pixel received some new toys! 

After presents, Lexi serenaded us on her pink ukelele...

and Xander rocked for us on his (actually his mom's) orange metalic electric guitar!
