Little Lawn Mower

Last weekend when Ken mowed the lawn, we got out Brody's little lawn mower for him to help out!

 

He gave it his all!

Sports Day

Sports Day this year ended up being a rather wet day here in the Fraser Valley. It was too bad as it did end up shortening the kids' sports day drastically, but all the same at least they were able to still make it happen!

I caught up with our sweet Melissa on the field when I took a break from my concession stand duties...

She was eager to show the camera her kitty face ;)

For lunch I got to join her at her desk while she had her cheese pizza and lemonade :) 

I'm sure great memories were made... I can always think back and remember sports day from when I was in elementary school :)

Rock Wall Climbing

Gym class these days sure is different than when I was in school! They have such cool sports that the kids are now introduced to in a safe environment with their classmates. This year Melissa's school has had rollerblading again, and most recently they got to try out rock climbing! How cool is that?!? True to her personality, she didn't make it to the top to ring the bell... but even climbing it in the first place was a huge success as she had told me she wasn't going to do it when the permission forms came home. I'm proud of her for taking it on even though she was intimidated by it at first!

Lately Brody has been quite keen on bugs! He likes to look out the window for them ;)

Wonder Woman - Tap Recital

Today Melissa had her year end tap recital... she made us very proud once again :)
