Tap Class

This fall Melissa is in tap class which she is enjoying. They are currently practicing for their Christmas recital which they are doing The Nutcracker. There is a small window on the class door which I snuck a short video from :)

Bottle Washer

I typically wash bottles in the sink next to Brody while he plays in the "bath".
Yesterday he took to helping!

These two just love sharing a bath together on weekends.

Pool Party!

With school just back in session, one of Melissa's classmates invited her and a couple other girls to a pool party! The weather was just beautiful and the girls had a BLAST!

Summer Memories

Went through the photos stored on my iPhone and found a bunch of random pics of things we enjoyed during the summer months. 

Here the kids are cuddling watching a morning Baby Einstein video...

Melissa & Lexi had a sleepover at Papa & Nani's, and Papa got the girls to make hand prints in his freshly poured cement of a new garage addition...

One beautiful evening the kids & I had a picnic at the Centennial waterpark while Dad worked late...

 

We discovered a new playground with fun playground equipment only an 11 minute bike ride from our place...

I taught Melissa to play "Chubby Bunny". Where you put one marshmellow in your mouth at a time and then say "Chubby Bunny" - until that is no longer possible!

And slower mornings with lots of cuddles... 

Video of Brody - 14 months

Okay... this is my longest video ever, and I don't expect most of you to want to watch Brody play this long, but I figure in the future it will be fun to look back at his antics :) The video is 13 minutes long, but the first few seconds were the reason for the video, it shows how he backs down the stairs into our living room. 

Backyard Kiddie Pool Summer 2012

I am already missing summer, as we are settling back into our typical rainy westcoast weather! But I really shouldn't complain as it was a most beautiful summer which lasted long into fall. I have yet to post these pics I took of the kids playing in our backyard kiddie pool on a very hot summer day :) Good memories!

With the turn of fall comes an influx in my workflow. Brody seems to have jealousy of the relationship between myself & my computer. Very hard for him to understand! We had a damaged keyboard the same as mine in storage, so it has become his toy! I'm so thankful he is a good napper!
