January Preschool Party Day

For the month of January Melissa's preschool has been learning about the planets in our solar system...

and the artist of the month is Vincent van Gogh...

Heat Hockey Game

This weekend we took Melissa to her first live hockey game. We went to Abbotsford's AHL hockey team The Abbotsford Heat, and enjoyed an exciting game! We were down 3-0 in the first period, but made a come-back in the final two periods to win 6-3! Very exciting, especially as the last four goals were in the final period in our end-zone!

Melissa brought along her new best buddy "Bailey" to the game...

And the puck drops! (Note how full the stands are! I must say it was much fuller where we were sitting.)

First intermission we had some great entertainment with these little kids (probably about Melissa's age) playing hockey... more like dominos!

Third period entertainment was this bucket of popcorn... not that it was a boring period, but somebody was getting a little fidgety!

Ice Skating

On New Year's Eve afternoon we went ice skating with the McMillan family. Melissa hadn't been out yet this season and she thoroughly enjoyed herself!
