After many days of observing me washing the dishes, Melissa was brave enough to don a pair of gloves.
I must say I am looking forward to our new place having a dishwasher... it has been 10 years of hand-washing the dishes. 4 more days until the move... and then the gloves are coming off!
This morning we joined Celeste & family at Wonderland. We thought it would be fun for the girls to ride their children's amusement rides.
Celeste was quite thrilled by the rides, while Melissa preferred not. Celeste got right in there with the Harley! Both girls enjoyed the Skeet Ball game, and Melissa had her first go at bowling!
I found these 'Goody' barrettes (the same as I used to wear as a kid) at Walmart the other day. Melissa is a big fan of them... and it seems she feels 'less is more' doesn't pertain to hair decor.
And I had to wear them too :)
This video shows how Melissa goes all out to pose for the camera! Here she thinks I'm going to take her picture, rather than video her, and she is posing... saying "click".
Nana got Melissa her very own little computer with keyboard & mouse. Melissa loves it... not that she really knows what she's doing (yet). I'm sure it won't be long!
Since Melissa was very small we have read her this book "Barnyard Dance" by Sandra Boynton. We always have kept rhythm with our foot, now the book can't be read without full participation from Melissa!
