Missed the Mark

Today Melissa's little training potty arrived in the bathroom. She was very excited to show Dora how to use it... next thing you know she had an accident on the floor. I think I asked her if she had to go pee too many times ;)

Couldn't Wait

Okay... I was going to wait to have Melissa try on her Halloween costume from Nana... but couldn't. Then we took some pics which I told myself I was going to wait to share on the blog... but couldn't!

Up on the couch

This morning as I was putting on my make-up, Melissa was rather quiet, so I went to check on her to see what she was up to - or getting into! I found her sitting on the couch reading a magazine... quite cute, so I got out the camera! I think I was most impressed that she got up there herself and was just sitting there contently.

Drama Queen

This evening it was time for Melissa to put on quite the show... I don't know quite what she was wanting, but she sure was determined to let me know that she wanted it (honestly I don't think she even knew what to do with herself). Then she would laugh when I would imitate her. She kept looking to see if I would take another picture... what a girl!

Well Melissa has her first spread in a bib catalogue! She ended up being chosen for the cover as well as the inside middle spread... but hey, we're trying to be modest about it! We don't want it to get to her head, or her parent's for that matter. Her picture is also on the MallyBibs.com website - under "shop bibs", "2007 collection".

Tall Tomatoes

We have a couple very happy tomato plants growing on the side of our house. Just to show how tall they are (approx 10-12'), here is Melissa snacking on a couple infront of the plants. Yummy tomatoes... we are giving away tomatoes if anyone is interested... I think we are going to have too many!

Zoo Animals

The little Thomas family took a trip to the zoo yesterday. Turned out it was a very popular day to go to the zoo - Labour Day, just before kids go back to school! Would you believe that Melissa's favourite animals were the ducks (and watching all the other children). I guess we could have just gone to Mill Lake to see ducks and children! One of the other highlights for her (and secretly Daddy's too) was the train ride, which she thought was pretty cool! Here are some pics from our trip.
