Growing up
Tonight we had my highschool friend Amber and her family over for a bbq. It is quite baffling at times to reflect upon how much we have changed and grown up together. Here are a few pics of Ken & Amber holding her second son Colby and our Melissa. We were trying to see which one weighs more.... the verdit, it was pretty much a tie!
Okay here are a couple pics of us back in the day...

Mally Bib Model
Yesterday Melissa was one of the cute little models for Mally Bibs, and will be featured in their upcoming catalogue with their new fall line of bibs. The photos were taken by Jason of Revival Arts Studio. You can see more pics of the other toddlers on his blog.

Birchwood Dairy Farm
Today Melissa and I went for a visit to Birchwood Dairy with Amber and her boys. It was a great day to try some of their locally renowned ice cream and then we got friendly with the farm animals!

Fish
Today Melissa got to learn all about fish. In the morning we found a fish bowl at a neighbour's garage sale for 50¢... a deal hard to pass up! (This past week she had been just tickled by the fish in the local pet store. So the idea of getting her own was in the back of my mind.) To make the exerience all that much more entertaining, we took a trip to Nani & Papa's farm to catch our own wild goldfish from their backyard pond! We'll see how long they last :P
